For a brief week in September three couples from New Zealand enjoyed a wonderful time as guests of the people of Eyragues. During that time they sampled the local cuisine, enjoyed the wine and marvelled at the history within the town and throughout Provence. Lasting impressions seldom last forever but our memories of the wonderful French folk and the helpfullness of our hosts have left a lasting impression on us all. Vive la France!

Truly, paradise! What a heavenly place Mas Jaune is - the gardens have been a delight and the house everything we hoped for. All we needed was here. The pool has been the highlight for us all! We don't want to leave - St Rèmy and the local area has us in its spell! Great places to go: Les Baux de Provence - the chateau and view from it are awesome. Pont du Gard - take a picnic and swimsuits as there is a "beach" at the Rive Droite. Best place for soap and ceramics: St Rémy! And don't miss St Paul de Mausole Cloître; an asylum doesn't seem a great vacation opportunity, but it's pretty and poignant and brings Van Gogh alive.

One of the highlights was the bull run in Eyragues on July 14. We saw the Tour de France go through St Rémy - quite a spectacle! Avignon is definitely worth a visit as is the Wednesday morning market at St Rémy. Mas Jaune itself is a delight - a peaceful haven, when the children are not squealing with delight in the pool. Thanks.

Voilà c'est fini! Nous quittons le doux chant des cigales pour le ruissellement de la pluie sur nos vitres belges. C'est avec regret que nous quittons ce joli mas, paisible et parfait, mais la région ne nous a pas encore dévoilé tous ses secrets et ses trésors donc nous revendrions!! Merci pour votre acceuil, votre jolie maison et votre disponibilité.

Zwar sagt man, Vorfreude ist die schönste Freude, aber Mas Jaune hat uns eines Besseren belehrt! Hier zu sein übertrifft alles. Wir "vier Evas" und unser Adam haben die sonnigen Stunden hier im Paradies mehr als genossen.

Es hat uns sehr gefallen im Mas Jaune, wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in der frühlingshaften Provence verbracht. Fischen im Stausee von St. Rémy sowie Fahrradtour am Strand der Camargue waren Höhenpunkte unter den vielen Eindrücken auf den Märkten und bei der Course Camarguaise. Danke!

Es war einfach wieder schön, hier zu sein, das Licht und die Landschaft zu genießen. Das gute Essen, der gute Wein und gemütliche Stunden am Kamin - einfach alles wunderbar.

Wir haben uns prächtig erholen können. Das Haus, der Garten, das Licht, die Sonne im Herbst, aber auch das nicht zu weite Meer (jetzt ohne Touristen!) und die Ausritte zu Pferd den Strand entlang haben uns in einem bestärkt: wir fünf kommen wieder!

An ideal base to explore Provence, plenty to keep two adults and two children amused. Fantastic sun in the garden and the pool, visiting places and soaking up the relaxed French lifestyle. We have had a fabulous time. The house and region are highly recommended.

We have had a lovely two weeks, with great weather. Mas Jaune is a very relaxing house to live in, with everything we needed, in a good location. Watching the bulls run down the streets of Eyragues was quite an experience! With the "finale" in the village arena worth watching...

Fantastic holiday. Lovely house. The garden is ace and the weather is perfect here, the house is spacious and it seems like where we stayed wasn’t too far from anywhere we visited. A great place to come back to. I also loved the paintings on the walls.
